As an artist I see moments of colour combinations and patterns in my surroundings and in the natural world, these fleeting moments then influence and inspire my art.
Nature often provides the greatest inspiration and I am drawn to seascapes and landscapes but can also be attracted to the fine detail of patterns of individual trees and flowers.
My abstract designs and paintings are developed from observations of colour and pattern. From these studies I explore combinations of colour and pattern to create my bold colourful paintings.
